well well well... what can I say! End of schooling life and tomorrow I'm embarking on a totally new journey, excited and full of anticipation but thinking that things will never be the same again. But nonetheless, it's a new journey :) I'm really glad that i took this week off to prepare myself for work.

So.. besides that, what's new in my life?
1. went back to my passion of choral singing :)
2. changed church and followed Pst Darren with his vision
3. serving in the House of God :)

And yes, i love the things that I'm doing now :)

I've unofficially graduated, meaning that I'll be currently looking for a job to support my business, which i'll be doing it part time.

Even though it was bittersweet as in the part about leaving friends and not being able to see each other everyday in school. Nonetheless, I'm really excited about what i'm going to do and what i'll be achieving :)

It's really the finals now, everyone is stressed, including me.. BUT GOD saves the day.

A yearly birthday has passed. Though not as many gifts as compared to when I was younger, I feel blessed indeed. Despite being in the midst of tight deadlines in school, friends took time off to buy presents for me.

One of the most memorable thing was the surprise by joyce and vann. I got bluffed into believing that vann went to the ladies.. And to my surprise,they handed me a F21 bag containing a _ _ _ _ _. LOL. Nonetheless, they are really sweet(:

Not forgetting the supporting group of friends that I've just made, wishing me success in my life (:

I'm especially touched when I receive hand-made cards. Thank you everyone (:

Memorable celebrations in July but all good things will come to an end, am looking forward to the next July (fav month of the entire year).

On a slight note, exams is next week and next next week I'll be officially finish with school! Am really excited to learn new things and to take up new challenges. :D

The next phase of life is fast approaching. In less than a month, I'll officially be a graduate. Many of my friends mentioned that it's so fast and all and they, like me, can't wait to finish school. Honestly speaking, I'm not sure if I'll miss school or not but nonetheless, I'm sure the next chapter of my life will be full of challenges and it'll be interesting.

Throughout the entire month of July where I have on average 2 assignments/projects to complete, one hand I did complain about not having enough sleep and feeling tired; on the other hand, I can't be thankful enough to the support that I have from my loved ones. Support, even though it's merely on the moral side, matters a lot(to me at least).

On a side note,I'm hoping that Joyce will succeed in making the cake pops so that.... :p

Sarah and my grandma, they are 4 generations apart, yet spending time together. This is what i call, family time.

I think yesterday's cg sermon by jme came at the right time as i'm approaching the next phase of my life as a uni grad. 

Career prospect is good and i'm hoping they'll implement the 5-day week soon because i defiitely wouldn't want to compromise on going for cgm and service on fridays and saturdays. Hopefully everything will turn out well.

Walking like the blind...

I was actually referring to the essay. Never have I felt so lost in doing an assignment, it's just so messy. I wanted to stay home to continue with my essay and just skip going for service but i still went in the end.

I felt that the word was really in season for many of us, for me as well. Being in the wilderness, a place of pressure,

I'm being reminded that everyone has to go through tests, not to be destroyed but to be built up.

I'm being reminded that wilderness is a preparation, not a destination as we are not destined to fail but to grow; it is a place that we pass through not a place we stay.

I'm being reminded that wilderness is a place of humbling, to know what is in our hearts, what we lack.

I'm being reminded that wilderness is a place of testing, a test of our faith.

Lastly, I'm being reminded that God knows how to control our situations and He will not give us too much that we cannot handle, that we will be destroyed but He wants us to have a new level of strength, to stand firm in the midst of adversity.

Glitz & Glamour 2010

I was really happy that most of my friends that i tried to psycho into going actually went! It was like a fashion show, seeing many of my friends dressed up, with makeup and hairdo(: Prior to the ball, i actually didn't had a good time calling for a cab from home, took me more than 20 minutes for one of the 8 taxi company to pick up my call. Cab took more than 7 minutes to arrive and after picking up Ryan, Joyce and Weimeng, we reached the hotel at 8pm odd. Cab fare was $38 but thankfully there were four of us (:

I kinda miss hanging out with the bcom people, especially the guys, like Haely and Ryan. We all used to hang out together for lunch or even have a cheesecake or drink at TCC but due to clashing timetable, it has reduced greatly but im glad that the whole group fo bcom people came for the ball too (:

Absent from blogging for almost a month now. It's the last 1 month plus of school. hmmm 1 months and 20 days to be exact. As much as i want to treasure these last few weeks in sch, it's draining to keep up with endless projects and assignments. This time round, it's not so much as of all the dead lines are cramped together but rather, it's one week after another week. Seems rather endless and it requires much stamina on each individual, including myself. As such, im really looking forward to 20th August 12pm, the day that i can decalre F.R.E.E.D.O.M. (at last)!&nbsp;

I'm really looking forward to the UON ball this coming Friday. I was quite excited to want to go for this event and kind of persuaded my cling of friends to go together as well :X So yays, we'll all dress up and be pretty and head down to the ball. Let's really enjoy ourselves before reality strikes :X&nbsp;

Why do people write journals?

1. People write journals because they want to remember their lives. We are all living in a fast paced society with many events occurring in just a single day, be it significant ones or minor ones. Writing a journal pens down our daily lives, the things that we've learned, the people we met and have made an impact on our lives.

2. Writing journal expresses and records our thoughts and feelings. Personally, I find that I think more and am more reflective since I've started writing journal. Each day I'll pen down the most significant moment that I have and / or the lesson that I've learned in the day. Not just to increase the value of my journal, but hopefully, these stories will be shared with my children and grandchildren in the future(:

3. Have fun and be creative! It's your own journal! We can choose to be as creative as we want. For eg, writing in different colour pens (i used to have lots of them back in secondary school); printing out photos to capture the memorable moments; have a title page for each day! Additional advantage is that we can slowly build our right brain muscles ;)

4. learn from our own experiences! As one of the famous sayings from my beloved friend's blog, 'Life is a journey, I'm the traveller'. We should treasure the journey and as we travel, there are bound to be things that we've done excellently and things that we did which had upset someone that we love. Gaining life experiences is indeed valuable.

This is a journal.

What exactly is it? Well it's a record of the daily events or business. Some people call it a diary. Note the word, daily (definitely takes some discipline to write in it everyday, don't you think so?)

Well, when i was younger, I used to keep diaries but i didn't write in it every single day. Right now, I've started writing again, almost a week now. I feel that everyone should take up this challenge! (:

I need to start studying! I am going to start in the morning of 2nd April. It must have been due to the busyness of March that I didn't even realise that exam was less than a month away! Jiayou everyone =]

Besides capturing the height of the building (which is just a normal HDB flat), it has never come to my mind that there's another story behind the picture, which depicts that the sky is the limit. However, many a times, we find that there are obstacles blocking our paths- the path that leads to our success; the path of fulfilling our dreams; the path of fulfilling our destiny, this is none other than the very famous glass ceiling.
Look how beautiful it is outside of the glass ceiling? If there's a glass ceiling, how do we break it? And how many times when the glass ceiling welcomes you, do you welcome it as well and let it hover your life and prevent you from breaking through ?

Are you one who let glass ceiling limits you, where you can see your visions but not achieving it? Or are you one who find means and way to break the glass so you can continue to fulfill your life's greatest dream? you decide.

this week is coming an end. 3 things due this week (one being later on -presentation) and next week is another crazy week (3000 words report, 3500 words report and a presentation), i don't know how i'm gonna do it, it's EXTREMELY stretching of capacity.

Blogging on my way to Novena on an early Saturday morning. I realised that when I get busy with school work, I'm also tied down with other personal commitments.school has been stressful enough and I apologise if I've snapped at whoever.

Seriously I can't wait for the month of March to be over, someetimes I feel as if I'm just hanging by the thread and once the thread snaps...

Read the bible on my way to school yesterday morning and saw this verse..Deut1:29-31Deut 1:29-31 “Then I said to you, ‘Do not be terrified, or afraid of them. The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you, according to all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes, and in the wilderness where you saw how the Lord your God carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went until you came to this place.’ it really reminded me that God is ALWAYS with me and He will not give me any battles that I can't win,as stress as I get, I'm believing God that I am able to survive this month.

1 in 4 people suffers from depression, I hope I'm not one of them.hahaha
