one more day to the annual Plasir de Chanson. it will mark the end of my career. i really wanted to go Pattaya with you guys but i can't. my throat hurts a little from singing every single day of the past few weeks.

this morning i reached siglap 5 minutes before 9am so i stoned a little and took photos of the CC.you see, i was bored.hah.
anyway, last week went parkway with a 7 other people, this includes the pretty girsl in the photos below(:Lunched at gelare just now. yummy waffle!(: you know what's the plus point? is that today is tuesday! waffles going at half price(: after choir, after settling all the tickets, went over to eat yong tau fu again. i say again because yesterday went there for lunch with a whole group of people, it's to sorta celebrate mr low's b'day. it was fun. surround sound and singing happy birthday out of tune to him. lol.

syf is over now, i guess everyone has different reaction to the outcome. i feel that the experience of the entire thing was better than the outcome. the months of preparations, the long and draggy practices that we were complaining about.

this week was stressful, physically draining. but nonetheless, it's the weekend again(: i really look forward to weekends every week, cuz it's the time when i can get my beauty sleep. lol

i was quite surprised that ms loh gave me crunchie on tuesday! it's because it's the first time that she's awarding anybody in class for anything and that's not counting the mcdonald's treat after the road run. so i was really surprised. thanks(:

today is saturday! it's really a day that's packed. in the morning woke up at 7am to go for service learning. This year being one of the people in charge of the whole thing is no doubt not an easy task. proposals after proposals. planning. organizing. logistics. etc etc. the kids over there are really adorable, even though there were conflicts here and there among the kids, i hope the kids still did enjoyed themselves. Goodie bags for everybody at the end of the trail. We had extra time after the maths trail, so impromptu we started playing hangman. yea, hangman. lol. the kids are smart!((:i dont think i'll post the photos here today, perhaps another day(:

after service learning, went to eat with class and then headed to siglap for choir. both duc and i fell asleep on the bus, we were so tired! i was quite reluctant to get down from the bus actually, wanted to continue sleeping. In the end, we still got down at SPC that bus stop. walk to cc for choir. i was yawning the whole time, couldn't help it. opps. really very tired. prac ended and then i went home to change, had dinner and headed to indoor. to my dismay, first time got turn away. the feeling was really horrible.in the end, boarded 608 to siglap then take bus home. i was quite amused by 608! haha. it's so old yet it's amusing.

i guess i got to continue my econs assignment. 3 econs assignment by monday.ah.
and it doesn't help when im coughing away, when the cool air from the atmosphere gets into my throat, my throat will get irritated and starts coughing. it's worse in the morning, my voice is practically playing hide and seek with me since tuesday. i deicded to buy de phlegm tomorrow.

term 2 has started, now it's the 4th week. I can feel the stress, it's engulfing.sometimes i just want to give it all up but then again, where would my determination and perseverance be then? Of course i have not. be it studies or choir.

Competition is in less than a month and there are so many things to polish up. I really want to achieve that dream of mine, the dream of getting what i want. But i know i cant do it all by myself, we need the strength of everyone. Like today, i didn't want to go in the first place but i still went. No doubt that everyone is tired, i guess we dont have a choice or whatsoever. Let's run the race together and persevere ok?

anyway, i didn't go for econs and choir today because of a bad cough. it's really terrible going around coughing, sing halfway and cough, forcing those high notes out. i strained my voice yesterday, this morning woke up with a low and husky voice again.so i got my mc. yups!(:

yesterday was not a good day, and i hope it'll never happen again. it's the first time that he did that. it's not his fault for doing that, and it's more or less mutual i think. but nonetheless, let's pick up ourselves again and continue the race okay?(: even though we may not be able to see the end of the tunnel now, whatever we do will be worth it. don't be disheartened guys, we're all in it together!(:

i went shopping today!:D yippee.but my legs and toes are aching now.walked bugis junction & vivo city.i got my bag,a zara top and my first pair of going-out heels!:D YAY. i love it. it's from charles and keith. we went into shoe shops like pretty fit, u.r.s., charles & keith, americaya and many others that i've forgotten the name of the shop. you see, i'm very choosy when comes to buying things, that's why. after a long search, i found my pretty heels(:here's a photo of it.hah.had reunion dinner at home, it was a yummy one prepared by mum(: oh yar! i got a winnie-the-pooh puzzle ball too! it's super cute(:

today is the day of splitting up, and we knew which cg we're going to.at first i wasn't affected that much, but on the way to expo w jamie, ade n cia, i guess that's where i really feel it.after the service, i went to hug the girls. like janet, liu jing, vann, yuling, debbie. no doubt that it's going to be different without having them around in the same cg, but i guess this change maybe for the better? perhaps is where i will fulfill my purpose.

HELLO!!(: this weekend's workload was really crazy.and i missed out the outing on saturday=( but i managed to complete 3 econs assignment and 1 chem assignment over the afternoon.

friday had the 2nd round audition for those who qualified for the first round.and something funny happened during audition, and both ap n i were there to witness it tog w nelson. n then after practice, nelson shared with the whole choir.lol.im really glad to be involved in the audition together with the whole comm because this gave us an opportunity to work together once more.i feel that it's good to hear nelson's comments too.(:

okay. that's the birthday list.lol. im feeling a little bored these days since tuesday. but i guess i'll be okay(:this week is the official start of all lectures and tutorials.i should make an effort to do all the tutorials and perhaps read up on what the teachers r gonna teach before each lect & tut?oh well.that's definitely going to take some self-discipline.but i can do it!!yes yes i can.

first spe lesson today.my spe class got mr samad.hah.we're gonna play hockey.but today started spe lesson with briefing and then supposedly a 2.4 km run. but then ran halfway it started to rain. so i only ran 2km.hah.im so not fit anymore.i feel so tired after just 2km.hah.

i guess like what a lot of people said, this year will pass very fast.before i know it, it'll be common test, prelims and A levels.hard work pays off.jiayou everybody.

yesterday i took my first topical test, it was maths.the paper was not that easy as many would have agreed too.i shall see what mistakes i make when the paper comes back to me probably in the coming week or next.there'll be phy n gp test make up next week due to the audition on wed and thur. tiring audition.haha. but i had fun working tog w jil.putting crosses or marks on the forms.(:

on the first day, that was wed. i was informed that ap and i need to teach the year1s shared dreams.instantly, we went WHAT? OMYGOSH.hah. but i think it went alright with the help from a few others(: and i get to hold audition using just one pitchpipe.hah.brand new experience. of course, not all people can hear notes that come out from a pitchpipe, so i have to pitch for them as well.i think i failed a lot of people on the first day even though jil said i was lenient.

dinner last night tog w the other 3!(: we ate SO much that we could hardly walk after that.but it was fun(: and perhaps, dinner w the other 3 more frequently?haha(:

yesterday finally got to go out, i'm not saying that i didn't go out but this holiday is really packed with lots of practices that i hardly got to watch a movie. and i did yesterday.the story line is quite nice, but the ending was not that good. anyway, had pasta mania and noodle omelette for lunch and dinner respectively.

oh ya, i went to see the doctor yesterday at east wood.i think this photo is quite nice(: but before i forget, before i got out of my house, i saw this BIG thing in the kitchen's sink..YUCKS!i wanted to wash my cup but when i saw it, i gasped and took a few steps back. hah. it's SO HUGE. my gosh>.<

monday went to school for sectionals and both of us went off to tamp and then tanjong pagar. it was topshop day! lol.that's me and jil at temasek tower, waiting for ks to knock off. lol. i had fun that night. the oyako don was yummy. but both of us took off all the skin of the chicken. it's quite gross.>.<

There's sco tonight, thursday and friday. and then after which, i'll be flying off to hong kong until the 30th. I won't be here for christmas=( and i won't be here on the 19th.

woohoo! a surprise gift from bowen after their performance on the 3rd night!(: i really didn't expect this, thanks! i think they are wonderful kids.(: at ma-kol-ta on thursday morning, i was with ks n ding, and we were walking around, looking for things to buy, and we saw 4 bowen ppl. this girl saw me, and she was whispering to 3 of her other friends "eh eh!!valerie valerie!" the thing is that her whisper was loud enough for me to hear. lol.(:
